FileForge is leaving its home at aldrickb.app and moving on to a new one at obrahaus.com. Same maker, new chapter — and a few honest things I owe you before the lights go out here.
Dear FileForge friends,
First, an apology. If you ever made an account here, you'll need to sign up again at fileforge.obrahaus.com to use the service. I'm sorry for the friction — I know starting over is never fun.
Here's the real reason. As a software developer, I know one thing well: writing code, and turning ideas into something real. What I only learned recently is the part that isn't code — to seriously pursue SaaS, I need a proper, legally registered domain and business behind it. Without that, I can't get approved by third-party payment providers, and running the service out of pocket would quietly bankrupt me.
So FileForge is moving somewhere built to last. That somewhere is ObraHaus — and to be clear, ObraHaus is still me. Same person, same hands on the keyboard. Just the proper foundation this kind of work needs.
Where the commercial apps live — built properly, registered, and here to stay. FileForge is moving in.
Lives on in harmony — but just for the fun, experimental, totally free projects. No pressure, no paywalls.
And if I can ask one thing: come with me on this new journey. FileForge will soon go live at fileforge.obrahaus.com. If it isn't live yet when you read this, you can already pre-create your account over at obrahaus.com and be ready the moment the doors open.
Pre-create your account now, or head straight to FileForge's new home. Either way — thank you for being here.
